Ms. Godoy completed her graduate studies in Jewelry Design at Le Arte Orafe in Florence, Italy, and completed her Graduate Gemologist degree at GIA In Los Angeles. She has taught Contemporary Jewelry Design at UCLA, as well as privately in her studio.
Her work is inspired by natural influences and the process of weaving 18k gold wire that she extrudes by hand. The traditional approach to }ewelry making includes making her own alloys from white gold, green gold, rose gold, and yellow gold. Select pieces include certified Munstelner cut stones in the design.These were featured in the 2007 Robb Report Collection in an interview done by the magazine on the avant garde jewelry designs.
She now operates her jewelry design studio & gallery in North Carolina, where she designs. and makes her fine jewelry pieces, one at a time.
